This is a small tribute to my personal hero... This Is MY Hero: Lance Armstrong!! His personal triumph over cancer is enough to make him a hero. To me, his determination to return to the sport of cycling, and achieve what no one ever has, makes him the best athlete in the World, and someone to be admired! He is MY hero! ATTENTION: If you're looking for the heroes you have honored, or are an honored hero, please accept my sincere apology. I am being pressured by an entity, which I will not mention yet, to stop honoring heroes under this domain name! They claim that only their domain name can use the word HERO. Their lawyer sent a VERY nasty and threat ridden letter to me outlining, inter-al ia, how they are the ONLY ONEs that can use the word HERO in a website or on a domain name! It is odd that a not-for-profit company would insist that a private citizen of the United States not provide a service which they claim confuses people. By their very actions, they bring to question just how much 'not-for-profit' they are. What are their true intentions if not to honor as many of our heroes as possible? Why would they wish to prevent anyone else from doing so? There is a possibility that they will somehow come to their senses and stop threatening me. I have given many hours of my free time to create a place where anyone could honor their heroes under this domain name, and all of you who supported me know that it is entirely free. A TRUE not-for-profit, yet somehow the little guy gets screwed.
